It would be good to receive a summary email once a day to the WG list associated with the helpdesk queue, listing all open tickets and new ones. The script could either use the Django management command interface or the django-helpdesk HTTP POST API: https://django-helpdesk.readthedocs.org/en/latest/api.html It can then be installed on the server to run via a cronjob.
