Issue with updating image size of jpg files on macOS

I finally got Emmet working in both Sublime Text and Nova, but I’m encountering the same issue in each editor. While Emmet correctly inserts the dimensions for GIF and WebP images, it fails to extract the width and height from JPEG files. In short, Emmet can’t retrieve the dimensions of JPEG images.

Any suggestions on how I might fix this?

Can you send an example of this JPEG image? It should work by default

I have attached two images: one that mysteriously works and one that does not, like most of the JPEG files. I’ve been messing around with different Node versions, thinking it might be related, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. Thanks for your help.
