Description
A collection of animated spinners, loaders and loading indicators (rings, arcs, dots, pulses, bars, text effects...) to show a loading state in your game.
Give your players a loading state! This extension provides a curated collection of animated spinners, loaders and loading indicators, inspired by Loading UI (free and open source).
All animations are drawn procedurally with PixiJS inside a custom object, so they stay sharp at any size and need no image resources.
Available styles include:
- Rings: ring, spokes, classic, dots ring, spiral, swirling, concentric ring, orbit ring, satellite ring, clock ring, quarter ring, dash ring, comet spinner.
- Arcs: arc, dual arc, fade arc.
- Pulses: pulse, ripple, pulse dot.
- Dots: dots, bobbing dots, bouncing dots, typing, twin orbit, pulsating dots, triple dot spinner.
- Text: text shimmer, text blink, text dots, text shimmer wave.
- Shapes: infinity, morphing infinity, diamond, wave, bars, square grid, square snake, skeleton, terminal...
Each loader can be customized (color, size, thickness, speed) and controlled with actions and conditions (start, stop, pause, change style).
Useful for loading screens, waiting for network responses, saving indicators, "thinking" states for NPCs, etc.
How to use the extension
It's very easy to use. Just drop it into the scene and choose the animation. For example, if it's an animation that includes text, choose the text you want to display and the font, drop it into the scene, and you're all set. You can even add 2D effects to it to give your spinner more style.
