π¨ My name is Jonathan Cardoso. I have been writing software since 2011, and since 2023 I am a Staff Software Engineer at Lindy, an AI agent platform, where I wrote the first line of code and have been building agents, and the framework they run on, ever since: the layer that talks to every LLM vendor, tool calling, memory and context, sandboxes where an agent gets a shell and a filesystem, and the coding agents we now point at our own backlog.
π§βπ€βπ§ A good part of my week goes into making the team faster than me: reviewing pull requests, running lunch and learns, automating whatever gets done twice, and turning what worked into guides and agent skills so the next person starts from the answer.
π¨βπ» My favorite languages, tech and libraries are: TypeScript, Elixir, GraphQL, React, and Kubernetes.
β Whenever possible I am also the team's DevOps person: CI/CD, Terraform, Kubernetes on GCP, observability, and the boring parts of shipping that stop being boring at 3am.
π§° Maintainer of node-libcurl, the Node.js bindings for libcurl, since 2016. I love open source and try to contribute whenever I can.
β I wrote the How To Code in TypeScript series for DigitalOcean, and I keep a blog that I plan to get back to, some time, soon.
πΉ Playing video games since I was a kid. Favorite genres: (J)RPGs, Turn-Based, Survival, Sci-fi and Roguelike.
π Based in Foz do IguaΓ§u, Brazil. Portuguese and English.
