dxx-rebirth once again failing to update/install from source

Description

Installing/Updating dxx-rebirth from source quickly ends with an error message. Tested on a Raspberry Pi 5 running Raspberry Pi OS Trixie Lite 64-bit and a mini PC running Linux Debian Trixie, both experience the same error. I have posted the RetroPie-Setup log:

Experienced the same issue building from latest source on a non-RetroPie Linux PC. Seems to be an upstream DXX-Rebirth issue.

Yes, it's an upstream issue. Building with scons broke in b16e8bbfeb14. Opened an issue there, noting the regression.

FWIW, the upstream issue for this bug is dxx-rebirth/dxx-rebirth#864, which has a follow-up patch to fix the build breakage. Once the Github PR (dxx-rebirth/dxx-rebirth#868) is merged in the upstream project, the error for the build in Retropie-Setup will also be solved.
