The locked compliance-trestle 2.3.1 pinned pydantic 1.10.13, which crashes on Python >= 3.12.4 (ForwardRef._evaluate missing recursive_guard). Relock to trestle 4.2.0, which runs on pydantic's v1 compatibility layer, and update the ValidationError import to match. Output verified identical to the previous version.
