Summary

  • Update User was incorrectly showing mongo_user_settings because it $ref'd the shared user_settings model added for Mongo RBAC create/get/list (#1021).
  • Point Update User at a new user_settings_update schema (PostgreSQL / Kafka / OpenSearch only).
  • Document that MongoDB user roles/database access cannot be updated after creation; recreate the user instead.
  • Clarify the same limitation on the shared mongo_user_settings description.

Test plan

  • make preview and review Update a Database User
  • Confirm description states MongoDB update is unsupported
  • Confirm request settings schema is user_settings_update and does not list mongo_user_settings
  • Spectral lint passes (existing warnings only)

mongo_user_settings was added to the shared user_settings model for
create/get/list, which made Update User appear to support MongoDB role
changes. Point Update User at an update-specific settings schema and
document that MongoDB users must be recreated to change roles.
