Notifications not appear when i close application

When using Element iOS Classic on iOS 26, push notifications do not appear at all if the app is completely closed (swiped away or not running in background).

Notifications work only when the app is in foreground or background, but do not trigger once the app is terminated.

same here, re-login didn't solve on 26.2

One of my users is experiencing exactly the same with no way to fix it. Although for him no notifications are coming through regardless of if the app is open or not...
