Description
In v4.2.31, when no item is selected and I open Properties, the Properties window opens behind the main Files window and cannot be brought to the front. It remains stuck behind the main window.
This happens both when using the Properties button in the toolbar and when right-clicking and selecting Properties from the context menu.
If I select a folder first and then open Properties, the Properties window opens normally in front of the main Files window.
I also tested this with the Calculate folder sizes option turned off, as suggested, but the issue still occurs.
Steps To Reproduce
- Open Files Preview v4.2.31.
- Make sure no file or folder is selected.
- Click the Properties button in the toolbar, or right-click and select Properties from the context menu.
- Observe that the Properties window opens behind the main Files window.
- Try to bring the Properties window to the front, it remains behind the main window.
- Close the Properties window.
- Select a folder and open Properties again.
- Observe that the Properties window now opens normally in front of the main Files window.
