Can you please remove the stuff that is manipulating the quest helper UI. I'm sure they would be happy to discuss an official PluginMessage API for opening the search if you ask. (If they don't have that already) |
PluginMessage API from QuestHelper is still being developed (see PR) If it's not disallowed then please allow the discrepancy until the guys over there release the feature |
Yes, manipulating the UI of other plugins is not allowed |
Adds QuestCape, a RuneLite sidebar for the OSRS Wiki's ordered quest, miniquest, training and activity route. It reads the current character's quest states and real skill levels directly from RuneLite, supports explicit local Sync, offers user-triggered Quest Helper search and result selection, links to Theoatrix training guides, and preserves manual activity checks and cached guide content. Character data stays on the user's computer; no external account API or sync plugin is required.
The plugin uses Java 11 and build=standard, with no additional runtime dependencies. It includes a BSD-2-Clause code license, separate content attribution, and a 32x32 root icon. All 52 local tests pass on Temurin 11.0.22 with RuneLite 1.12.39, including local sync without HTTP, account/mode isolation, lifecycle cancellation, guide parsing and packaging. Confirmed automatic login resume remains unavailable with the distributed Quest Helper integration.
The manifest now points to
1e8ffb8b9cc9b164c899cbe788e2cced5dc53eda. The latest source commits separately expand Java bodies for readability and remove checks proven redundant by the API contracts or surrounding control flow. The third-party IP-address warning is retained because the plugin still retrieves public guide content and checks user-selected training links. Source review findings and the evidence for each removed guard are in developer-rules-review.md.In-game verification of local character sync is pending from the user. The implementation is in draft feature PR #1, which must remain open and unmerged until the user verifies the checklist. Please hold final acceptance pending that verification.
