NPCs you kill stay dead. Each kill keeps one more NPC of that type hidden in that 64x64 map chunk, so areas slowly empty out as you fight. Hidden NPCs are not drawn and cannot be clicked; one that attacks you is revealed and another takes its place, and loot dropped by a hidden NPC (cannon, area attacks) is hidden per item without touching other items on the tile.

  • Kill counts per NPC type per chunk, saved per account. The actual killed NPCs are hidden by server index on the world they died on; elsewhere other NPCs of the type are substituted up to the count.
  • A kill counts when your own loot dropped from it, or, for NPCs that drop nothing, when you dealt the most damage.
  • Sidebar panel and world map overlay (chunk outlines coloured by progress, hover for the per-NPC list).
  • Spawn totals come from a bundled seed of attackable NPC spawns plus the NPC's OSRS Wiki location table, fetched once per NPC name and cached.
  • Optional, off by default: sharing observed spawn tiles with a community server. Requires the user to enter a server URL; the setting carries the standard third-party server warning.
