Automask generator functionality

Is there any plans for using the auto mask generator function instead of using the sam predictor for creating masks? Would be nice to be able to auto mask an entire image to start with then manually predict masks with targeted bounding boxes.

Have you tried this before and this is some that is not simply possible with ease?

Yeah this function is achievable. We will need to add mask support for our labeling tool first, then use Segment Anything output to modify that mask.

I would also like to be able to use SAM for "Segment Everything" (no prompting)
